Data Protection and Privacy Policy
T&T Training Solutions Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy in all our dealings with you, whether through our website's on-line services or through direct contact with our consultants. When using our website, we want you to have a safe and secure experience. We will endeavour to ensure that the information you submit to us remains private, and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that is sent from a web server to a web browser when that browser visits the server's site. Anonymous cookies which do not hold any personal data are used, with your consent, on the aaappointments.com website to enable the functioning of the vacancy basket.
On-Line Services - What information do we collect?
So that we can provide a tailored service, upon registration for On-Line Services (which include Jobs by Email) we will ask you to submit information such as your name, e-mail address, password, professional institute membership, level of qualification, location and the industry sector you work in. You are under no obligation to provide such information. However if you withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.
Jobs by Email
To utilise our Jobs by Email Service, you will be required to register for On-line Services. The information collected is used for the purpose of keeping you informed by e-mail of the latest jobs that match the search criteria you have selected. Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive Jobs by Email, you can simply either log-on and choose not to have Jobs by Email sent or you can follow the "unsubscribe" instructions on each Jobs by Email Alert sent to you.
Profile and CV information
Some of our websites offer you the ability to create a profile and upload a CV to our database. Your profile and CV may be then made available for searching, viewing over the Internet and downloading by our customers. These may be direct recruiters, employment consultants or other organisations. Customers who request CVs matching your profile to be sent to them may receive your CV and profile via e-mail or CD Rom. Some of our customers may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area.
Your CV can only be viewed by a customer if you have consented to this within the profile section. You can choose to prevent our customers from accessing your personal details, CV or profile.
You can also choose to make your personal details and your CV anonymous, while having your profile available to be searched by recruiters. You can then choose to reveal yourself when you reply.
IMPORTANT: Your current employer may be one of our customers, or a client of one of our customers. We cannot restrict the customers who will access your CV or profile on our database and cannot be held responsible for any eventuality.
If you choose to create a profile and upload a CV to our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact details have changed. Once your profile and CV are on our database we will contact you every six months using your most recent contact details to ask whether you want it to remain there. If we do not hear from you, your profile and CV will be removed from our database.
We reserve the right to remove from our database CVs or profiles which include any content that we consider illegal or offensive.
We may use aggregated data to identify employment trends across different industries, such as salary averages. This information will not be capable of being linked to any personally identifying information about users.
If you create a personalised account on any of our websites it will be protected by your password and may only be accessed by you. It does not form part of our database available for searching or access by our customers. You can delete your account at any time.
The Data Protection Act 1998
The information that you give us, including your CV and e-mail address, is termed "personal data" under the Data Protection Act 1998. We must therefore follow the principles set out in that Act when we process your personal data. All the personal data that we obtain from you is held on our central in-house database. T&T Training Solutions Ltd. is a "data controller" for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998.
